Terminology affecting pumps:
The size of liquid ends found on our site is 4" diameter, with a designed number of impellers of the correct configuration to achieve a given gpm and total dynamic head (in feet)
As you work with the part numbers on our site, you will see how the number system describes the liquid ends offered. You will also find the logic in our motor numbers as well.
Liquid end example:
a 4" liquid end that is a 3/4hp, 7 gallon series, with 13 stages (impellers) would be a 0713-07 ("0713" = 7gallon, 13stages, "07" = 3/4hp)
Horsepower codes - 1/2hp = 05, 3/4hp = 07, 1hp = 10, 11/2hp = 15, 2hp = 20, 3hp = 30, 5hp = 50, 71/2hp = 75, 10hp = 100
Motor example:
a 3/4hp, 4" motor that is 230volts and single phase and runs on 3wires would be a 34M4213 ("34M" = 3/4hp motor, "4" = 4" diameter, "2" = 230 volts, "1" = single phase, "3" = 3 wires)
motor horsepower codes - 1/2hp = 12, 3/4hp = 34, 1hp = 1, 2hp = 2, 3hp = 3, 5hp = 5, 71/2hp = 712, 10hp = 10
